May 23rd

Today is the day we headed to the airport to fly to Narita Airport in Tokyo, Japan. We left our hotel really, REALLY early (5am) to get one a charter bus. It was a pretty long trip. Most of us were trying to finish what we were doing at the hotel... sleeping.

We made a pit spot at a rest area and it had a very lovely park area.

The single serving dinner kit on the plane. Not too bad for airline food.

A few hours later, we landed in Japan, I took a picture of the welcome sign in the high security area where it is illegal to take pictures.

Upon arrival, a local TV show found us and started to film us. They followed us the rest of the day.

We took a train to the Shinagawa Train Station which was near our hotel, the Toyoko Inn. As you will see in the video, the rooms were pretty small.

After we dropped off our luggage, we walked down the street and found an Italian restaurant and had dinner.
.

After dinner, some of group headed back to the hotel to relax. I went with another group and we began to walk around and checked out some of the city. We saw the Tokyo Tower and we decided to check it out.
Here are some of the incredible views of the city

Looking down through the glass floor. *ugh*

Tokyo Warm Heart

One of the most romance places is the second level of the Observation Deck

Here's a video of what I'm talking about. The music that you hear was playing over the speakers. I felt like I was at prom. But unlike my high school prom, I was hanging out with a bunch of guys.
